Troy, Mich., August 24, 2005 - Automation Alley, which drives the growth and image of Southeast Michigan's technology economy, announces the finalists for its Fifth Annual Awards Gala, taking place Sept. 23 at the Ford Conference and Event Center in Dearborn, Mich.

"This year's Awards Gala is particularly exciting as it marks the fifth anniversary of the ceremony," said Ken Rogers, executive director, Automation Alley. "When the Gala began in 2001, Automation Alley was primarily an Oakland County initiative. Today, the Alley's membership includes nearly 600 organizations spanning all of Southeast Michigan."
